Farmer Mo

Molly Stevens DuBois started thinking about opening a farm store as a way to diversify her family farm. With a strong passion for farming, Molly knew that her dairy farm needed a way to directly involve the public in order to survive.  Molly earned a degree in farming from the Stockbridge School of Agriculture at UMass, Amherst.  She manages the dairy farm and store with her father.

Flying Farmer Phil 

When Phil Stevens isn’t flying in his Para Plane he is fixing equipment or buying tractors from Brookside Auto.  Phil is head of the maintenance on the farm and keeps all the tractors running like well-oiled machines. Phil runs the dairy with his daughter Molly.

Doctor Nell 

Nellie Stevens runs the store with her sister Molly. She is also the on-site farm doctor when anyone gets hurt. When she isn’t studying to be a real doctor at UMass, Amherst, she can be found scooping Ice Cream or picking vegetables in the field. 

Farmer Sean

When Sean DuBois isn't adventure riding on his BMW motorcycle he is the head landscaper at the farm. With three huge lawns to mow and lots of gardens to maintain, he keeps busy all summer long. Sean also does haying, pick-ups for the store, and works as master chef at the Field Stone Grill. In the "off-season" Sean is a teacher at Quabbin Regional High School.

Papa

Dan "Nibby" Stevens runs the maple syrup operation and helps out with most things at the dairy farm. More importantly, he takes all the family members fishing on his boat for stress management in the summer.  Papa makes sure everyone stays on their toes and doing everything right!

Chicken Noodle 

Justin Campbell is the farm carpenter. There is always a need for new barn doors or calf pen repairs… and Justin is always the man for the job! He can build just about anything including a darn good kitchen cabinet... that is, if he’s not too busy!

Farmer Erin

Erin Stevens helps keep the hay crew fed, which is one of the biggest jobs on the farm. If she’s not headed out for a tractor part, you might find her bringing lunch to the fields for all the help. She is used to feeding small armies at a moment's notice! During the "off-seanson" Erin teaches social studies at Quabbin Regional Middle School.  

The Ol’ Grandmother 

“Dita” Audrey Carter Stevens puts the Carter in Carter & Stevens Farm.  Her father Donald Carter bought the farm from the Allen family in 1938. Dita keeps a watchful eye on the farm when everyone is at Queen Lake. She also sells her own free-range organic eggs at the store.

Rogue 

Rogue is the farm dog. She roams around making sure everyone is doing his or her job.

Baby Maple

The newest farmer at Carter & Stevens Farm! Maple DuBois was born in the fall of 2007… it won’t be long t'ill she’s running things. Until then you can find her attached to Farmer Mo.
